Bayard Klimasmith, Ed.M, M.A.T.

Bayard has over 30 years of experience driving innovation in education as a classroom teacher, administrator, and consultant. He specialized in school leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education (Ed.M.) and studied high-engagement classrooms and alternative assessment strategies at the University of New Hampshire (M.A.T.). At Wesleyan University (B.A., government), Bayard fed his passions for singing, acting, tomfoolery, and rigorous learning, which he has carried into all of his professional endeavors.

Bayard is an agile learner, a dynamic presenter, and an expert facilitator of processes and teams. He has previously helped teachers and school leaders with a range of topics, including increasing student engagement, classroom motivation, backward planning, literacy coaching, curriculum mapping, and technology integration.

He excels at organizing and energizing teams and projects, especially helping school leaders manage more effectively and sustainably. He has helped schools design MTSS systems, streamline operational processes, implement safety procedures, fine-tune onboarding systems, and write policies that promote equity.
